The only 18-hole championship course serving the general public in the Valley, the course is strategic and beautiful, with water coming into play on 16 holes over the 6,704 yard, par 72 layout.

On rolling terrain ideal for golf, the early and finishing holes are shrouded with mature stands of pine and specimen Sequoia and oak, while the mid-round holes give onto the plain along the river.

Built in 1968, by noted architects Jack Fleming, designer of the famous Olympic Club Lake Course, which has hosted four US Open Championships, and Bob Baldock, one of the best of the post-war western architects, Kennedy Park has hosted qualifying for the Kaiser Invitational and the US Open.

Rated 72.7 with a slope of 131 from the black tees, the course is challenging, but with three other set of tees, it is also manageable for players of all skill levels and offers a unique challenge to each. Green fees are surprisingly affordable and the course is readily accessible from the east and north Bay Areas. It is free of the crowding in more urban settings and tee times are readily available. This is truly one of the great golfing values in the region.
